Zmarak Zhouand – Principal
Zmarak was admitted as a lawyer in Australia in 2001 and as an attorney and counselor at law in New York, USA, in 2014.
Between 2001 to 2008, Zmarak worked with Henry Davis York and Gadens Lawyers, both leading Australian corporate law firms, where he represented “blue-chip” national and international clients across the corporate, commercial, banking and finance and litigation practice areas.
Between 2008 to 2011, Zmarak worked as Senior Legal Counsel with a large telecommunications operator in the Middle-East and re-entered private practice, as a partner, in 2011.
As Principal of our firm, Zmarak focusses on corporate, commercial, compliance and arbitration related work with a particular interest in servicing the needs of Registered Training Organisations and Higher Education Providers .
He has a B.A (SCU) (1998) and a LL.B. (UNE) (2000) and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London, United Kingdom.

Aimee Mundt – Special Counsel
​
Aimee was admitted as a lawyer in Australia in March 2015.
​
Between 2015 and 2023, Aimee worked with leading boutique and national law firms in their dispute resolution and insolvency practice, where she represented ASX200-listed companies, banks, SMEs, high-net-worth individuals, shareholders, directors, and insolvency practitioners.
​
With approximately 10 years experience in commercial litigation, Aimee has significant expertise in corporate disputes, insolvency and bankruptcy, debt and asset recovery, and contractual disputes.
She regularly appears in both State and Federal courts and has a proven track record of managing complex legal matters independently while delivering exceptional outcomes for a diverse client base.

As a Special Counsel at RTO Legal, Aimee specialises in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, leveraging her extensive experience to provide practical and results-driven solutions.
​
Aimee holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Griffith University (2014), where she graduated with First Class Honours and was awarded the University Medal for Outstanding Academic Excellence. She also completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law (2014) and the Introduction to Insolvency Program through ARITA (2016).
